Northwest Medical Experts is a privately owned Seattle-based medical consulting and litigation support company. Founded in 2008, NWME supports clients in cases involving some medical aspect with a focus in the facilitation of medical consultant and expert services.
Our staff are experienced professionals supported by advanced technology to ensure a high level of customer service to both clients and medical consultants. This allows NWME to give each case or claim the level of attention and flexibility it deserves.
Kristi Walter, President of NWME, began her career in 1997 working for a large IME firm. In 2002 she launched Axis Administrative Services, a virtual administrative services company that supported medical consultants and their practices. Helping medical consultants engage with the legal and insurance communities provided a unique perspective in the industry. High costs and poor quality burdened the legal and insurance communities, inefficient processes burdened the medical consultants and their staff. Neither the consultant nor the client were receiving the support necessary for high quality medical legal services from the options that were available. Northwest Medical Experts was launched in January of 2008 with a goal of solving this problem and providing relief.
CourtTrax has been providing online court information search and retrieval services since 2004. Beginning with Washington state, CourtTrax has expanded its coverage to include the Federal Court System (i.e., nationwide access to all Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts), Oregon state, and most recently, Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The company expects to have complete national coverage for all Superior, District, Municipal and Appellate/Supreme courts that offer online access, by the end of Q3 2009.
This aggressive build-out is the result of a recent round of venture funding the company received from Texas Pacific Group, Benchmark Capital, Foundation Capital and MHS Capital. These leading venture investors are excited by the opportunities to use CourtTrax's patent-pending search technology, cutting edge web services infrastructure, comprehensive real time court information access, and disruptive pricing model to address unmet needs in the Legal, Risk Management, Title Plant and Background Screening markets.
