How quickly can I expect records?
In general, approximately 80% of records will be received at T-Scan within 4 - 6 weeks of requests being made. T-Scan cannot guarantee turnaround times as they are fully dependant upon the cooperation of the providers. Many facilities also have exclusive contracts with particular copy services, and that can sometimes slow record retrievals down. Some providers, government offices especially, take a longer time to respond due to the sheer volume of requests they process. Once the records are received at T-Scan, they will be processed and sent to your office within 48 hours.

Can records be put on a CD?
Yes, T-Scan can create CDs, a storage option that saves both time and money. Whether T-Scan collected the records, or you have records piled up in your office from old files, we can burn entire cases onto disc as a space saving alternative to paper copies.

Can films be put on a CD?
Yes, T-Scan can convert your hard copy x-rays to a digital image. This process takes the hard copies received from the provider and converts them to the digital images, making them easier to store, easier to send to experts and easier to translate into exhibits.

Can films from a CD be converted to hard copy films?
No, films on a CD cannot be converted to hard copy films. They can be printed to a paper copy, however the copy quality is usually very poor.

Can I email my requests to T-Scan?
Yes, in fact it is preferred that orders be emailed directly to your Account Specialist. Faxing and mailing are also acceptable. If you do not have an Account Specialist, please contact Jay Jenkins (jay_j@tscan.biz) or Shawnessy McKelvey (shawnessy_m@tscan.biz).
